GMM INOX has successfully completed a large serial order involving the design and production of a line of 26 pressure vessels intended for the storage of compressed air. The entire series of apparatuses was made of high-quality austenitic stainless steel 1.4301 (304L), which guarantees full resistance to corrosion caused by condensing water-oil condensate. This project is excellent proof that, in addition to single, highly complex reactors, we are capable of efficiently carrying out repeatable, mass serial production while maintaining the identical, highest quality for each individual unit.

Project objectives
The main objective of this project was to deliver an extensive series of devices designed to operate under harsh conditions of continuous, alternating filling and emptying of a pneumatic system. Due to their operating characteristics, compressed air vessels are subject to strict inspection regulations, making absolute weld tightness and structural wall stability at specified working pressures the key goals. Carbon steel was completely rejected in favor of acid-resistant 304L steel to eliminate the risk of rust flaking inside the vessel, which could damage expensive valves and pneumatic tools further down the installation line.
The second fundamental objective was perfect repeatability and the optimization of production processes. Manufacturing 26 identical pressure apparatuses required implementing a strict technological regimen at the stages of laser cutting, automatic rolling, and circumferential welding. Each vessel in the series had to maintain perfect dimensional and geometric conformity, facilitating direct, serial installation for the client on prepared foundation positions.
